Over a decade managing complex Workcover, SIRA, and NDIS claims — combining Exercise Physiology and Chiropractic care to get injured workers back to durable, sustainable outcomes. Servicing clients Sydney-wide.
John is an experienced healthcare professional with over a decade of expertise in occupational rehabilitation, functional capacity evaluations, injury management, and medical treatment. His dual qualifications in Exercise Physiology and Chiropractic care allow him to assess and manage complex Workcover and SIRA claims with a holistic, evidence-based approach.
He works closely with injured workers, insurers, and legal representatives to facilitate timely, durable return-to-work outcomes — drawing on deep experience in functional assessments, return-to-work planning, and injury prevention. John is particularly skilled in managing complex and stagnated claims, with a proven track record of navigating legal and insurance frameworks to reach optimal case resolutions.
He has worked with a wide range of clients across ADF, DVA, healthcare, construction, and corporate sectors — building strong rapport with everyone in the claims process, from injured workers to insurers, employers, and legal teams.
Beyond one-on-one casework, John delivers Manual Handling training and injury prevention seminars for workplaces, conducts pre-employment physical assessments, and manages complex neurological and autoimmune presentations alongside standard rehabilitation. He is also a Registered NDIS Provider (Treatment), and has shared his approach to recovery on industry podcasts including AusRehab's Behind the Claims Podcast.
Every service is built around the same question: what can this person actually do, and what will get them back to doing more of it, safely.
For patients working toward a health goal, clients managing an ongoing claim, or colleagues after a remote consult — education and coaching, wherever you are.
John joined the Behind the Claims Podcast to talk about why some workplace injuries stall — and what actually gets people moving again.
John sits down with the AusRehab team to unpack why some workplace injuries stall under standard care, the difference between exercise physiologists, chiropractors, and physios, and what actually helps injured workers get back to function.
